Second Judge Recuses Herself From Steven Tyler ’70s Sexual Assault Case

In 2022, a woman named Julia Misley (formerly Julia Holcomb) sued Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler, accusing him of sexually assaulting her in the '70s, when she was a minor. Misley filed her lawsuit in the final days of the Child Victims Act, a 2019 law that temporarily voided the statute of limitations for victims of child sexual abuse. The trial was set to start later this month, but now two different judges have recused themselves from the case.
